Your Comprehensive Guide to NOSSCR in San Francisco

Wednesday October 17th 5:30 - 8:00pm – eGenerationMarketing Cocktail Party

Join us for complimentary cocktails and hors d’oeuvres following the conclusion of the day’s sessions. Please stop by our exhibitor booth to pick up your free tickets and while you’re there, take a swing on our putting green! You’ll have a chance to win $1,000--the winner will be announced on Friday.

Thursday October 18th 5:30 - 6:30pm – NOSSCR President’s Cocktail Reception

NOSSCR will be hosting its own cocktail party with some light snacks and drinks the following evening. This is another great chance to relax and meet with colleagues after the second day of the conference.

Friday October 19th 5:00pm – Off the Grid Food Truck Party

Off the Grid is a weekly outdoor food truck gathering at the historic waterfront campus of Fort Mason Center. Only about a 10-minute drive from the Hilton, it’ll be easy to visit California’s largest street food market with more than 30 vendors. There will also be live music!

Food:

The San Francisco food scene is diverse and delicious if you know where to go. If you didn’t have the time to scan Yelp listings but plan on having a voracious week, here are some suggestions of where to go. Breakfast:

Starbucks

Located inside the Hilton, this is a quick and easy option to jumpstart a productive day.

Sears Fine Food – (439 Powell Street)

Located in Union Square and just a 5-minute walk from the Hilton, Sears has been around since 1938. They are the self-proclaimed “Home of Little Pancakes,” so check it out for an indulgent breakfast.

Lunch:

Tadich Grill – (240 California Street)

Located in the heart of the financial district, this is a seafood restaurant that’s been around for over 166 years. Today, the menu focuses on seafood, stews, and casserole. Pay attention when you go because you may even find yourself standing in line next to a celebrity.

Deli Board – (1058 Folsom Street)

This spot is located in South of Market (otherwise known as SoMa) and features a menu that changes daily. It’s only a 15-minute walk from the Hilton so this could be a great place to go for some quality meat in a reasonable time frame.

Dinner:

House of Prime Rib – (1906 Van Ness Ave)

If you are having trouble picking a meal, look no further then the restaurant that makes the decision for you by only serving one thing: prime rib. This restaurant is great for taking a special someone, or even just to satisfy a steak craving. House of Prime Rib is in Nob Hill, about a 25-minute walk from the hotel but just a 10-minute car or taxi drive.

Per Diem – (43 Sutter Street)

A unique style and ambiance, located between Montgomery and Sansome within 15 minutes walking from the Hilton. You will see a great mix of modern flavors with old-school décor recalling back to the Gold Rush era. The internationally acclaimed Michelin Guide designated Per Diem with a ‘Recommend’ rating.
