Looking to increase the amount of leads generated on your firm’s site? Take a look at our checklist below to make sure your site will convert visitors to leads.

1. Show Credibility & Authority

When a potential claimant visits your firm’s site, they need to feel as though you are a credible & authoritative source. If you aren’t demonstrating your knowledge within your area of law, the claimant may not try contacting your firm. Adding content with value can help increase your creditability. You should also provide some background information on your firm and the attorneys to show how and why you are an expert within the areas of law you practice.

2. Make It Easy To Contact Your Firm

You should have a contact form that is easy to find and fill out on your firm’s site. If your form is hidden or not well labeled, chances are that no one is filling it out. Keep the form short and simple. You can even experiment with different Call to Actions (CTAs). You may find “Free Case Evaluation” generates more leads than “Contact Us” or vise versa. In addition to a contact form, your firm’s phone number and address should be easy to find on your site as well.

3. Strong CTA

As mentioned above, you should test out different CTAs on your firm’s site. If you’re finding that your site isn’t generating leads, simply trying a different CTA may make a big difference. If a potential claimant isn’t persuaded to fill out your contact form, then you’re going to miss out on leads. As you test different CTAs, track your results to find which one has the most conversions and leads generated.

4. Look At Your Traffic

Go through your firm’s Google Analytics account to see where you may be lacking traffic or conversions. You can then optimize accordingly. For example, you may find your page on how to get an insurance agency to stop calling you has a high volume of traffic but a low conversion rate compared to other pages. You can then take a look at the page and make some optimizations. Maybe you need to move your contact form or update the content. Similarly, you may find you have a very low volume of traffic on mobile devices. You can then check your page speed and that you have a mobile friendly site.

5. Work On SEO

Having a site that is easy to find on search is an important step to getting more leads. You can have an amazing site, but if no one can find it then all your hard work will go down the drain. Working on your firm’s search engine optimization (SEO) will help your firm rise in the rankings and produce more leads. Things like adding content, working on getting backlinks, and making sure you are adding meta descriptions all contribute to your firm’s SEO.
